Duration: I year Medium: English
This course is designed for those working /desirous
of working in the industry in the managerial or executive
categories .This course familiarizes the participant
with the latest developments in behavioral science.
It arms him with a comprehensive approach to planned
change that is designed to improve the overall effectiveness
of the organisation in which he works
Organization of the Course
Organization of the course is the same as that of PGDIC
except for changes in two papers.
a) Counseling Theory
PGDIC students will be learning "organizational
behavior" as paper 3 & "human relations
in industry" as paper 5.
b)Field work & writing of verbatim reports
c) Contact programmes.
III.M.S. Course
in Counseling & Psychotherapy
Duration: 2 years Medium: English/Tamil
Organization of the Course
Ist year
Organization of Ist year of Course will be the same
as that of PGDPC. But there will be no 6th paper for
the MS participants.
II year
II year of the course will familiarize the participants
with the various techniques & methods of psychotherapy
as follows:
Theory Papers
1. Principles and Techniques of Psychotherapy
2. Clinical Assessment
3. Psychological Therapies
4. Behavior Therapy
Project work
In addition to the above, M.S. participants will required
to do a project work in any subject connected with counseling
or psychotherapy for which guidance will be provided.
IV.M.S. course
for participants who have completed PGDPC
Duration: 1 year Medium: English/Tamil
Organization of the Course
Participants who have completed PGDPC are given one
year full credit when they join
MS. So they need do only the second year subjects to
complete MS course.
II year
II year of the course will familiarize the participants
with the various techniques &
methods of psychotherapy as follows.
1. Principles and techniques of psychotherapy
2. Clinical assessment
3. Psychological therapies
4. Behavior therapy
Project work
In addition to the above papers M.S. participants will
be required to do a project work
in any subject connected with counseling or psychotherapy

V.Master of Business Administration
(MBA)
Duration: 2 year Medium: English
This course presents the essentials of management theory
in a systematic and thorough way while keeping the material
interesting and practical.
